Meet The Doctors
Dr. Baqir Jaffery

Originally from Fair Lawn, NJ, Dr. Baqir Jaffery completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor B.A. in Psychology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School in 2005. Dr. Jaffery then went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Paterson, NJ at St. Joseph’s Hospital. There he worked with top surgeons, prosthodontists, implant specialists, endodontists, and periodontists on patients ranging from trauma to extensive oral rehabilitation and full mouth reconstruction.
Since then, Dr. Jaffery has been enjoying private practice in South Jersey. Dr. Jaffery remains dedicated to community service and volunteers at the Mission of Mercy in Philadelphia to serve the underserved.
Dr. Jaffery is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and dental expertise to his patients. He especially enjoys keeping up with the various technological advances and integrating them into his clinical practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Southern Dental Association.
Dr. Jaffery is married and his wife is a board-certified, dual doctorate Oral Surgeon. They have two children in elementary school. When he is not practicing dentistry, he can usually be found walking around his home turning off all the lights that his wife and children leave on. Dr. Jaffery also enjoys exercising, fishing, and a good slice of pizza and hot wings.
Dr. Fizza Jaffery

Dr. Jaffery attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine receiving her dental degree in 2006. She received her M.D. degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2011 and subsequently completed two years of General Surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Jaffery is presently a licensed physician and dentist in the state of New Jersey, Dr. Jaffery completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. She served as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chief Resident from 2013-2014 at Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Dr. Jaffery completed the board certification process and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Mid-Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She a
lso maintains membership in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Jaffery especially enjoys teaching and mentoring both students and residents as she holds adjunct faculty positions at both the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (TUKSOD) and at the Virtua Health General Practice Residency in Camden, NJ.
She has been awarded the “NJ Top Dentist” award as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by her peers. Her residency training and private practice experience have prepared her for performing full-scope Oral Surgery. She enjoys sharing advances in the field of implant dentistry with her patients. Her special interests include immediate placement of dental implants and full arch reconstruction.
Her hobbies include leading local wellness groups, a certificate as a yoga teacher, and meditation. She enjoys hiking outdoors and spending time with her husband and two young kids.
